Do you have experience in budgeting and financial modeling? Are you looking to join a fast-growing startup that’s scaling internationally, where your work will directly impact strategic decisions?
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. You’ll report directly to the Head of Finance and work closely with leadership to design, analyze, and optimize our budgets and financial models, ensuring Shakers continues to grow in a strong and sustainable way.
This role offers the opportunity to have a 360° experience of a Finance department within a high-growth startup. You’ll collaborate closely with accounting, billing, and leadership teams, contributing to key decisions and projects, including Shakers’ international expansion starting in 2025.
2. What you’ll be doing
In your day-to-day as a Financial Analyst, you will:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly variance analysis.
- Build and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Develop forecasts and scenario analyses (“what if”) to support Shakers’ international expansion.
- Prepare clear and actionable financial reporting for management and the CEO.
- Analyze profitability by client, market, and product, providing improvement recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Accounting and Billing teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data.
- Support external audits, due diligence processes, and grant applications.
- Contribute to finance projects arising from Shakers’ growth and international scaling.
3. What we’re looking for
You’re a great fit if you:
- Have 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, and financial modeling, ideally within startups or scaleups.
- Hold a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Have strong knowledge of accounting and taxation, and can translate numbers into strategic insights.
- Are highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (advanced formulas, scenarios, modeling).
- Have experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) – a plus.
- Are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Are analytical, autonomous, and proactive, with a business partner mindset.
- Are interested in the startup ecosystem and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

- Salary range: €28,000 – €35,000 gross per year.
- Up to a 15% quarterly bonus based on performance & potential.
