1. Team and Role
At Shakers, we’re about to open a new office—our long-term home and brand flagship. A space where freelancers, clients, partners and team members will gather, collaborate, and grow. That’s why we’re not just looking for a traditional Office Manager. We want someone who runs the space like a well-oiled machine, and who also activates it as a key driver of our brand, sales, and culture.
You’ll be the soul of our HQ in Madrid and the person behind the scenes ensuring our office becomes a strategic asset: operationally excellent, emotionally engaging, and commercially impactful.🤩🤩
2. What you´ll be doing
Your day-to-day as an Office Manager
Operations & Facilities
- Oversee all core office operations (visits, mail, deliveries, inventories, security, cleaning, etc.).
- Manage and negotiate with suppliers: cleaning, coffee, vending machines, fresh fruit, water systems, etc.
- Keep the space in top shape, coordinating with maintenance, alarm systems, internet, and technical infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize utility costs: electricity, water, heating, etc.
- Ensure full knowledge and documentation of all installations and building-related processes.
- While your main focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation and brand experience of our Madrid HQ, you'll also provide occasional remote support to ensure that Shakers based in Valencia or Bilbao feel equally cared for and connected (e.g., shipments, logistics, small culture rituals, etc.).
Brand, Experience & Events
- Welcome guests like they’re VIPs: freelancers, clients, partners, candidates. Every visit should be memorable.
- Support and host monthly events in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams (demo sessions, breakfasts, afterworks, etc.).
- Curate the vibe and aesthetic of the office to reflect the Shakers brand and energy.
- Help turn the space into a content creator’s dream—great lighting, visuals, and moments worth sharing.
- Onboard every new Shaker with an office tour, showing them how to use each space effectively.
Business Activation
- Track and report KPIs related to commercial impact of the office.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to organize in-person sessions that bring in leads or accelerate deals.
- Identify and implement opportunities to turn office visits into new leads or brand evangelists.
- Keep a CRM-style list of frequent visitors and their engagement.

- Are experienced in running and scaling dynamic office environments, especially in fast-paced, creative companies or startups.
- Are proactive, operationally sharp, and love being the go-to person who makes things happen.
- Deeply care about user experience—whether it’s a freelancer, a client, or a teammate walking through the door.You’re a connector: you enjoy talking to people, hosting events, and making spaces feel alive.
- Bring a business mindset: you understand how physical spaces can help activate a brand and accelerate sales.
- Have strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
- Are fluent in Spanish and English.
4. What's in it for you?
Compensation đź’°
The salary range for this position is between 26.450€ and 32.200€ OTE (on target earnings) gross annual salary.
The salary consists of:
- Between 23.000€ & 28.000€ fixed salary
- Up to 4.200€ quarterly bonus based on performance & potential (15%)
